May 13, 1954 - July 29, 2017
How does one even begin to describe Chris? He was a man of great character and integrity. He loved his family, life, people, and laughter. Nothing brought him more joy than helping others.
Chris was a native Angelino. He graduated from Hollywood High School in 1972 and began working for C.R. Laurence Co. in Vernon, California, where he remained for over 44 years until his death. He met the love of his life, Joyce, and they married on April 25, 1981. The two were best friends who loved to joke around with one another all the time. This union produced the most important people in his life: his five children.
On Saturday, July 29, 2017, Chris witnessed a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Chris got out of his car and went to help the injured party when another vehicle came along, killing both Chris and the man he was trying to assist.
His family is committed to honoring his legacy by sharing love, kindness, and laughter to all.
